RHM: presumably her son was from before her marriage.

RLM: My faithful, honest, outspoken correspondent, Kate Lillian Moore, died at Dannevirke, New Zealand, on 10th Nov 1970 and was cremated at Palmerston. Marjorie Hendy wrote: "She died of hypostatic pneumonia following very heavy sedation (after several strokes) as she became very violent and manically strong. She even set fire to her hospital room, with matches that she acquired from some person, and then said, with her old mischievous chuckle, 'it was a jolly fine fire too!'. She had a large funeral and the Presbyterian minister said with effect that she was a woman of devastating honesty and I think this was very true."
