John Murray was born 24 Dec. 1835 at Dalquhurn, Vale of Leven. Moved to New Zealand with his wife, Francis Stewart of Dunoon. Became Manager of the Bank of New Zealand. Died 30 June 1915 at Bathurst, N.S.W.
