Charles married Margaret Wilkie Nice, sister of Catherine, wife of his brother, a charming lady: very musical and cultured. He was in the jewellery trade with his brother William. During War I he joined H.M. Forces and used to visit us in Scotstoun in uniform. He moved to Rothesay on Isle of Bute where his two daughters went to school.
