Seems to have been paralysed nearly all his life. Poliomyelitis? Died Airdens. Name on gravestone in Kincardine. Death certificate says John had paralysis for 28 years, i.e. since 1854. Perhaps his sister Margaret "Crupach" had attack of polio about the same time.
