A regular officer in the Black Watch. Invalided out at time of Suez misadventure of Eden's. Did 2 years course in agriculture. Then rented a farm from Kenyan Government and with his wife Marjorie worked very hard and long hours to get farm (1500 acres) in good order. Farm taken over by Kenyan government after Mau Mau crisis. Had compensation. Given job as valuer for a year or two. Job now finished, January 1969. Does not know where to go. Seems a real stout-hearted lad. Is elder in the Scotts Kirk out there. Kitale?
